Copenhagen (The Times Groupe)- The Danish far-right Stram Kurs (Hard Line) party leader burned a copy of the Quran in Sweden on Thursday under police protection.

Danish-Swedish national Rasmus Paludan recently burned copies of the Quran in Muslim-populated areas of the southwestern province of Västergötland, including Frölunda, Boras, and Trollhättan.

Paludan has been accompanied by around 100 police officers and 10 plainclothes officers from the Swedish intelligence agency SAPO.

Since 2017, Paludan has burned the Muslim (holy) book in various Danish cities.
