Paris (The Times Groupe)- PKK sympathizers attacked Turkey’s Consulate General in Paris on Thursday, diplomatic sources said.
Unidentified individuals attacked the Turkish Consulate General in French capital, Paris around 02.30 a.m. local time (1230 GMT) on May 12 with firework-type explosives, according to information obtained by Anadolu Agency from the sources.
A window and the exterior wall of the Consulate General building were damaged during the attack.
France has launched an investigation into the attack.
Sources said PKK-affiliated formations claimed responsibility for the attack.
On Twitter, the administrative department of the Hauts-de-Seine region in the northwest of Paris condemned the attack and communicated solidarity with the Turkish Consul General and his staff.
