Moscow (Times Of Ocean)- Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday that 28 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities were destroyed in airstrikes.
In a statement, ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov provided an update on Russian army actions amid the war in Ukraine.
Konashenkov reported that since the beginning of the war, 124 aircraft and 80 helicopters, 345 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 1,826 tanks and armored vehicles, 195 rocket launchers with multiple barrels, 766 howitzers and mortars, and 1,704 private military vehicles have been destroyed.
Several countries have imposed tough financial sanctions on Moscow in response to the Russia-Ukraine war, which started on 24 February.
UN estimates claim that 1,232 civilians have been killed and 1,935 injured in Ukraine, although the actual number is likely to be much higher.
More than 4 million Ukrainians have also fled to neighboring countries, and millions more have been displaced within Ukraine, according to the UN refugee agency.
