Bratislava (Times Of Ocean)- Slovakia’s prime minister said on Friday that his country has given Ukraine an air defense system against Russian aggression.
“I would like to confirm that #Slovakia has provided #Ukraine with an airdefense system S300. #Ukrainian nation is #bravely defending its sovereign country,” Eduard Heger said on Twitter.
I would like to confirm that #Slovakia has provided #Ukraine with an air-defence system S-300. #Ukrainian nation is #bravely defending its sovereign country and us too. It is our duty to help, not to stay put and be ignorant to the loss of human lives under #Russia’s agression.

Additionally, he insisted that he must not remain silent about the loss of lives.
Among others, the EU, US, and UK implemented tough financial sanctions on Moscow in response to the Russia-Ukraine war, which began on Feb 24.
According to UN estimates, at least 1,626 civilians have died and 2,267 have been injured in Ukraine, with the real number likely to be higher.
UNHCR says 4.3 million Ukrainians have fled to other countries, with millions more internally displaced.
