Ankara (Times Of Ocean)- Turkey will move its embassy in Kyiv to Chernivtsi amid reports of a Russian assault on Ukraine’s capital, Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tanju Bilgic told state media on Friday.
NATO member Turkey, which has a maritime border with Russia and Ukraine in the Black Sea and has good relations with both, was among the last nations to still maintain diplomatic missions in Ukraine.
Ankara has been working to evacuate its citizens stranded in Ukraine due to the fighting.
